How this technology works, explained so it stays explained
We build AI systems for companies, and the same misunderstandings turn up in nearly every room. These courses are the explanations that worked, written down. They are free, they need no account, and there is nothing at the end to buy.
How these courses work
Each course is one page you scroll, not a deck you click through. The figures move, because most of what is confusing here is a process, and a still picture of a process is a picture of one frame of it. Everything holds still if you have asked your machine for less motion.
They are layered. The main thread assumes no background and no mathematics. Where the plain version is a simplification, a fold marked Deeper says so and gives the mechanism, so a reader who already knows the subject is not told something false and a reader who does not is not drowned.
They are short on purpose. Sixteen minutes, not sixty. Anything that did not change what you can do afterwards was cut, because the aim is that you still have this in a week.

Introduction to language models
Five courses that take you from never having thought about it to being able to read a model's behaviour and say why it did that. No mathematics is required and none is hidden from you either: the parts that are arithmetic are shown as arithmetic, folded away where a reader who wants the shape can skip them.

What this is not
It is not a certification and it is not a funnel. Passing a test here proves something to you and to nobody else, which is why the score sits in your browser instead of on our servers. If the courses are useful and you later want the systems themselves built, the rest of this site is where that conversation happens, and it will not follow you into a lesson.
